Switching Power, Inc. is an American owned and operated company, located on Long Island, New York. All products are engineered and manufactured in the 30,000 square foot facility located near Islip Airport. Switching Power has produced power supplies since 1976 and is vertically integrated, including in-house magnetics, metal fabrication, testing, and assembly.

Switching Power offers OEM's the opportunity to have the supplies tailored to match their needs. The supplies are engineered from a clean sheet to maximize ruggedness and longevity through the use of oversized capacitors, premium components, and careful attention to heat transfer.

The result of such careful attention to detail is a wonderful meeting of aesthetic in design combined with surprising affordability that allows OEM's including Compaq, Sun Microsystems, HP, Raytheon, Scientific Atlanta, and GE to successfully deploy SPI supplies in many of their enterprise products.
